Delete Your Data

Last updated: 17 July 2026

This page is available in English, Arabic, and Swedish. If there is any discrepancy between the translations, the English version prevails.

Sanad is an on-device app with no account. It does not collect your name, email, or recitation, and it never uploads your voice. Because of this, there is no server-side profile to delete — your data lives on your device, and you are always in control of it. This page, published by Ylen Solutions AB (Org.nr 559569-4380), explains how to remove it.

Delete your data on your device

  1. Clear in-app data. Open Sanad and go to Settings → Privacy → Clear data to reset your bookmarks, last-read position, and preferences.
  2. Turn off analytics. In Settings → Privacy you can switch off anonymous usage analytics and crash reports at any time.
  3. Uninstall the app. Uninstalling Sanad removes all local app data from your device — bookmarks, preferences, and everything else.

Anonymous analytics data

If you opted in to anonymous usage analytics, or left anonymous crash reports on, those events are tagged only with a random install identifier — not your name, account, or any device identifier, and never your voice or recitation. They are automatically deleted after 90 days. To stop collection immediately, turn both off in Settings → Privacy; to request early deletion of any anonymous diagnostics linked to your install identifier, email us (see below) and we will handle it within 30 days.

Request by email

If you have any question about your data or want us to action a deletion request, email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

What is retained

We keep no notes, recitation, or personal profile — there is nothing of yours on our servers to retain. Anonymous diagnostic events are deleted automatically after 90 days. We may retain minimal records where required by law (for example, to document that a request was fulfilled).
